Staci Baird is a new media specialist with more than ten years of experience working with a variety of traditional and non-traditional media outlets. She’s a skilled user and avid champion of social media. 

As an internet marketing manager for Lucasfilm, Staci helped launch LucasArt's first social media campaigns. Before moving to San Francisco, she was the innovations project manager for E.W. Scripps Newspaper Interactive in Knoxville, Tenn. As multimedia manager for MSN Money in New York Staci worked with a team of multimedia journalists to design and produce a series of multimedia stories. She has also worked as a content producer for CBS Interactive and SFGate. 

Staci helped design the Stauffer Multimedia Newsroom at the University of Kansas where she taught online journalism classes as a graduate teaching assistant and multimedia coordinator. She also taught online journalism at the University Tennessee where she helped design and build a content management system for the Tennessee Journalist (tnjn.com). In spring 2011, Staci led the relaunch of the San Francisco State University student newspaper and magazine websites. 

Staci is currently working for Stanford University in the School of Engineering helping relaunch the website and managing the school’s social media profiles.

I live in San Francisco with my husband and our dog Cody aka "Monster." My hubby is an instrument-rated private pilot and a computer programmer. He works for ForeFlight. I'm the Internet and Social Media Strategist for the Stanford University School of Engineering and a media consultant. Dog is currently unemployed.
